Wednesday Weaving Project: Brushed Alpaca & Beech Tree Fiber Shawl

Yesterday, I decided to dress my 32" Kromski Harp loom with more remnant yarns for another shawl (or scarf)--this time beech tree fiber blend yarn, merino & cotton blend yarn, and brushed alpaca as the weft yarn. This scarf was a fairly quick weave and I finished it in half a day.

Weekend Weaving Projects: Remnant Yarn Shawls

This past weekend, I decided to use up some of the remnant yarn I've been accumulating from past weaving projects. I ended up with two shawls--one in neutral colors and the other in warm colors with a few cool colored yarns to add a little pop of color. Both wefts were woven using a boucle yarn from Bremont (silk, linen, alpaca).
