Lucca Dot Handspun Art Yarn weft for pillow fabric
Yesterday I wove a pillow front from handspun art yarn by Claire Cabe of Lucca Dot Yarn. I used lace weight rambouillet wool yarn for the warp. Open weave was the request, so a fabric backing will be used on the actual pillow.

Weaving in the New Year with more 100% cotton Spa Cloths
I tried really hard to put off more weaving until January 2nd, but I couldn't help myself. I warped my 15" Cricket loom and began weaving more 100% U.S. cotton textured spa cloths on New Years Day so I can begin building my inventory, both online and at the local boutique. So far, I've woven 5 spa cloths with 5 more on the loom in 2018. Colorways include Chocolate Ombre, Ocean Stripes, and Ecru (forthcoming). I've decided to price each spa cloth at $12 each (Etsy) and $10 each (locally). I've woven custom colors with the spa cloths before and continue to do so this year also. Some cloths are already available at my Etsy shop.
